Bread ´ Round Europe AnD.....2007-09
A Comenius Project
of a Multilateral School Partnership
within the Lifelong Learning Programe
of the European Union
Bread is the essential food element across Europe. We are using this idea and the symbolic status of bread to help students realise the diversity and similarity in European cultures. By working on the project activities we hope to investigate the importance of bread ( and food generally) in each country. The partnership with other countries gives us the opportunity to develop the understanding of each others´ lifestyle and values.

Breadfriends´ partnership began in Conservatorio delle Orfane, Terra Murata - Isle of Procida.
The momentous contact seminar was arranged there by NEAC ( Network of European Alimentary Culture) to enhance the creation of new Comenius projects primarily in the thematic area of European Citizenship through the Alimentary Culture. |
